Introduction
TUC Vocational School offers a range of different courses with the aim of increasing the individual's value in the job market. Now they have gone a step further by using VR as a complement to traditional educational methods. With the ViroteaED service, the aim is to give students the experience of living with cognitive impairment and thus understand the importance of adapting their approach to the individual's circumstances.
Results
With the help of VR, you get a unique and realistic learning experience that gives new perspectives. In addition to, for example, reading and discussing, students can experience what it might be like to live with, for example, limitations in time perception and the stress, worry and anxiety it can cause. With ViroteaED, you get a deeper understanding, greater engagement and it also makes the education more fun! From September 2023, ViroteaED is included in the following educational programs:
